Good location and very spacious

One of the bathroom locks did not work or was jammed and might need a replacement.

Very convenient location. Staff were extremely kind and helpful despite having a language barrier. Rooms, beds and showers very clean.

Occasionally some showers lacked hot water, important to note if travelling in large group. The staff did help to rectify this so it was intermittent.

Bed sheets were clean. This is the only good thing i can say about this hostel.

- very difficult to get in. No sign outside, no door code was provided. I had to ask a guy on the street to phone the lady who only spoke mongolian. Also the door lock was always broken. - The bathrooms are minimal. Like, most of them dont even have hot water (Wtf). Not particularly clean, either - Kitchen is always messy and not very equipped - Only cash is accepted, of course - The lady is not even nice, always trying to get advantage of you and make you pay for things. Let’s not even talk about the scammy tours they try to sell 20$/night is not even cheap. They should do better. I think people giving good reviews here have never been in a Nice hostel

Despite seeing very few reviews for this hotel, I did not have high expectations initially. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Ulaanbaatar, this one was by far the cleanest and had the best service. The bed linens and towels were impeccably clean, and the kitchen was spotless. While breakfast wasn't provided, the kitchen was available for use without any restrictions, which was very convenient. The check-out time was also very reasonable. There was no ethnic discrimination, and everyone was incredibly hospitable. If I return to Mongolia, this hotel will be my top choice.
