Set of rules that were stuck to the fridge and hung up around that house that weren’t advertised on the website before arrival. (Please post rules on the website) Cleaning not done until after arrival. We had to wait in the lounge while owner cleaned to the house. Up to almost two hours wait for cleaning to be done. We cleaned the kitchen and fridge as there was dishes left on the bench and fridge full of rotting food. After this, owner come back and put all the food back in the fridge. (Please see photos provided) Oven not working. No tea towels provided, tried to offer us a floor towel for the bathroom to use to dry dishes (ew) Only given two rolls for toilet paper for a house of 7 people Owner living on the property. -please state this on your website Only allowed to stay here if over 18 however, no noises are to be made after 10pm No cooking after 10pm Not allowed outside on the terrace after 8pm All of this stuff would have been fine if we knew before arrival. We would have been able to work with it for find accomodation elsewhere. There are also cameras throughout the home. Not in the rooms but one in the kitchen and hallway. Hallway camera removed on day 2 of our stay. This property would make a better Air BnB There was a conversation between us and the owner once she was done. She explained she had issues at another job which is why she was late getting here to do the cleaning, good that she had the conversation however, that conversation would have been better upon arrival The children of the owner were in and out of the property during our stay (please be careful of this, as some people are not safe for children to be around) We received an email from the owner after our first night here stating that we were loud the night before. However we were all in bed at 10pm -which was the requested “quiet time”- please see photo attached. Even after we had waited two hours for the house to be cleaned.

The hosts give you privacy and peace. They responded quickly to needs, such as more toilet paper needed in the bathroom. The room was very clean and pleasant. The area is quiet and you feel safe. The lounge and kitchen are clean.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner (a little mould in the shower), but overall very good. Bedside lamp not strong enough to read by. Some noise and banging with hammer one morning, but otherwise quiet.

I had to stay outside on the road for the whole night, because no key.

All around a really nice place. Located not too far off the center in one of Aucklands' northern suburbs, you can get a good rest after a busy day in the city. Neighbourhood is quite nice, quiet and overall safe. The rooms and beds are comfy, the kitchen is tidy and if the weather is good, you can also relax on one of the two terraces. Chinh and her husband are very welcoming hosts. They take good care of their guests' needs and help you whenever they can. My girlfriend and I had a great stay, we would definitely come back :)

We spent only one night there, so we could not use some of the facilities available - such as outdoor dining area. Pleasant and enjoyable stay after a long flight from UK

We were happy with our stay.
