Casa di Nonna Margherita was a great experience overall. The view was really amazing. The room was nice and appeared to be newly updated everything was clean and again the view of Mt. Vesuvius was amazing. There was space to hang clothes and shelving to put your things. The host Andrea was so nice and helpful. His sister provides the airport transfer if needed for 50 euro each way. There is a nice restaurant very close a few minute walk down the road to Casa Mia. It is a very small intimate setting and the food was great. it was booked up for the night but Andrea got us a table. We had a couple appetizers and both ordered pizza. 7euro for an entire pizza and 2-3euro for appetizers. There is a bakery very close as well and a supermarket down the road a little further. The house has a shared kitchen for guest use with coffee, expresso, a microwave and refrigerator available. The breakfast is just some packaged pastries with jam and Nutella with juice and milk boxes. You also get 2 waters initially but we never saw anymore water. We felt safe walking to and from even at night. The host is quick to communicate on Whatsapp. Word of caution apple maps took us to the wrong place, so be sure to look at the street and the property # when arriving. If you have a car rented or are able and willing to walk you cant beat the price of this place and the view! Its a nice base if you plan to visit the Amalfi coast, Pompeii or Naples for the day.

I had planned on utilizing the local bus to get to the train station which was a little over a mile away from the B7B as there were two stops just outside either direction however we learned from a local on the street the first morning that the buses we not running in that town, and after keeping an eye out I never saw one after he mentioned that. We did not have a car so that posed a problem getting to the train station. The host took us and picked us up on several occasions so that helped, otherwise we had to walk over a mile to the station. It is an uphill journey from the station but downhill going to the station. There is no taxi or uber available for this location when i attempted to utilize one of those options. If you have children this may not be the best option as kids get tired of walking. If you are a able and willing to walk adult you cant beat the price of this place and the view! I didn't ask questions about the buses since i saw the stops that is my fault i suppose. For US travelers breakfast is all sweets and carbs no protein offered and there is not water readily available unless its tap water. So if you are like us a drink a lot of water buy some to take back to the room. It would be a nice addition to have water added to the breakfast basket daily. There was a celebration of some kind happening every night with music microphone and fireworks that woke us up. this is not something the host can control, we had doors open to the balcony for the fresh cool air but with the noise we just closed the doors and it was fine. i believe the Air Conditioning was an extra cost which I'm not sure i saw when booking but with the cooler temps we did not need it. Also if you have a car you should inquire about parking, Im not sure if you can park on the street or if they allow it on the property. All of this is is just so anyone as a fellow traveler is informed when booking. we were very happy overall!

This is not just a hotel, but an experience! Waking up to a view of Mount Vesuvius over the balcony felt like such a privilege and is something that I'll remember forever. The room was cool, clean and spacious with robust modern decor which provided a secure and comfortable feeling. The bed was spot on and the pillows were memory foam. Our host Andrea went above and beyond to answer any of our questions, as well as organizing travel and helping us to get to know the surrounding area. He was always quick to help if we needed anything. Every morning we were provided with a new basket full of breakfast pastries, biscuits, breads, toast, spreads and much more. I have stayed in so many hotels but I really struggle to think of somewhere that beats this place. If you are struggling to decide on where to stay, you will not regret picking here!

Everything was perfect and I hope that if (when!) i come back here in a few years time, it will be just the same as i remember it!

I often visit in this area, and this accommodation is by far the best value. Very friendly host, large and beautiful room, great view, sparkling clean, quiet.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and were keen to show us around the property. There is a rooftop terrace available to all rooms with views of Vesuvius, capri and Sorrento in the distance. We were in the ‘mountain view with terrace’ apartment and had great views of Vesuvius. It was very clean and fresh feeling. The hosts also booked us into the local restaurant one minute walk away which was very delicious and well presented. The properly has a shared kitchenette for all units with coffee machine, microwave and fridge.

Air conditioning is an additional charge. Parking onsite is additional 10€

Beautiful view of Vesuv literally from the bed. The room is facing quiet garden, so there is no noise from the street. Rooftop terrace is adding even more to the already great experience. Safe parking inside the premises was for extra fair fee. We loved it and when back in Naples we would stay again. Thanks
