Sloe Gin Cottage

The location was excellent and lovely and quiet. The cottage was well provided for with thoughtful touches such as cushions for the kitchen chairs, tissues in the bedrooms and guest food treats. We enjoyed using the patio garden with outdoor table and chairs and deckchairs.

It suited a couple well but the upstairs would have felt more cramped with 4 guests, but the price probably reflected this anyway.

Well equipped and tranquil.

An old cottage but well extended and modernised making it really comfortable and spacious enough easily for the four of us. It was clean and well presented with lots of nice welcoming touches by the hosts. Large kitchen that made cooking really easy and a good sized dining table meant we were able to enjoy our meals. Good stair gates meant we didn’t have to worry about the little one hurting herself. Being able to park on the front was really valuable so I wasn’t worried coming back from day trips.

Not a lot really! There’s no dropped curb so have to be a little careful getting onto the drive. Worth noting the low ceilings (of course given property age) if anyone is above 6ft tall.

Nice cottage in a lovely village that has all the amenities. Its a great base to investigate the attractions in the local area. Nice big kitchen with all possible utensils and an amazing high end cooking range and huge modern fridge. Small private back garden. Five minute drive to the beach. It has its own private parking. Overall a great place to stay and we would use again if we were in the area.

Stairs are steep which could be a challenge for the elderly and less mobile.

De rust in de straat en eigen parkeerplaats. Goede keuken. Woonkamer goed, maar voor ouderen te lage banken. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar.

Het 2 persoonsbed 110 cm breed. Opstapjes ook naar de tuin. Laatige trap naar toilet en slaapkamers. Voor iemand met fysieke problemen erg onhandig.. afstapje ook naaar toilet.

Lovely cottage in close to the village centre. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen, huge fridge freezer with ice dispenser. Enclosed rear garden so the dog could run around, very quiet and peaceful

We had a fantastic stay at Sloe Gin cottage. The location couldn't have been better - lovely walk from the beach and around the village pond, with lots of bird life and ducks about, which made morning strolls so easy and enjoyable. The area was peaceful yet conveiniently close to everything we needed. The property was clean, very comfortable, well-equipped and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind near the coast!

Nothing we did not like. We hope to be back to stay in the future.
