Riad La Petite Majorelle

good location near Jardin Majorelle, the room was very clean, the room and the bathroom were spacious, very friendly staff, we could store our luggage during the day before our departure

it was quite loud- we could hear the people from the corridors and noises from the outside during the night, the breakfast was very poor, there was no hot water in the shower in the morning (there was hot water in the evening though)

La salle de bain semblait confortable mais sans sèche-cheveux.

Le réceptionniste est venu taper à la porte de la chambre à 04h00 du matin (vidéo à l’appui) afin de faire sortir mon partenaire, qui est Marocain car nous n’étions pas mariés. Alors même qu’il n’avait rien évoqué au début. Ses propos ont été particulièrement étranges et discriminants. Il nous a obligés à quitter l’hôtel si nous restions à deux alors une la chambre était payée ou à ce que je reste seule. Nous avons dû partir.

A bit far from the Medina

Unfortunately, my experience at La Petite Majorelle was very disappointing. The price was extremely high for what was offered — €128 for one night for a very basic double room in what felt more like a homestay. It is probably the most expensive stay I have ever paid for such a basic room, and it was absolutely not worth the price. I was asked to pay a tourist tax that did not appear on Booking. In the end, they agreed to waive it, explaining that Booking had changed something in their system and that the tax used to be paid before. The sound insulation was very poor. I could hear everything happening in the street as well as at the reception, and since I am a light sleeper, I slept very badly that night. The breakfast was okay and the location was good (near the museum of the YSL), but overall everything else was far too basic for the price I paid. Sadly, I will not be coming back.

Très bon accueil, très bonne chambre, très bon petit dej, très propre, très joli, très bien placé et Bagheera, le petit chat noir... Meilleur hébergement de notre voyage au Maroc !

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir konnten schon um 11:00 Uhr einchecken. Gutes Frühstück. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort.
