Arrue's Mountain Retreat

Find Chepo on the map! Its a higher-altitude hamlet in the rural mountains of Herrera Province. This is a beautiful, modern, airy, rural vacation home with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Everything worked and the kitchen was moderately well equipped. We came for two nights to see a rural community with no tourists (except us), and we certainly found it here in Chepo!

Cleaning staff needs to pay more attention to detail. Though everything was clean and neat, on our arrival, but the house had no toilet paper and no waste basket liners for the bathroom (!) or kitchen. The property manager quickly corrected this one short-coming when we complained. Everything else was fine!
