The proprietress was very helpful quick to respond over WhatsApp. The room was clean and quiet. Everything was in good condition - the air conditioning worked, there were bottles of water in the fridge, and a little pod coffee maker was available.

The place was NOT close to the waterfront as indicated on the map - it was some distance farther inland, in the middle of a residential area with no charm. It was also impossible to find, since there was no address, so the taxi drivers bringing me there had to hold long conversations in Wolof with someone from the household until I learned how to navigate to the location, and I had to walk about 500m to the main road to get transport each time I wanted to go anywhere. You get a good basic bedroom with a very nice and attentive hostess at a fair price, but you are probably going to be far from anything that has caused you to come to Dakar.
