Due to a cancellation I unfortunately had to book the property at about 5pm on the intended day of arrival and request a late checkin. I recieved a call from the owner mere minutes after the booking to confirm all the details with us and get us sorted for checkin and registered with the holiday park right away which was incredibly reassuring and helpful. We went during a very hot few days and whilst the caravan did heat up tremendously during the day, there was plenty of ventilation through the windows and fantastic patio doors to cool down fairly quickly when we arrived back in the evenings. The Haven holiday park staff were also very lovely and making use of their facilities and the small beach on-site was easy and well worth it. The caravan was well situated with a pretty good view of the sea (as well as a few trees) and great outdoor seating on the deck. The caravan also came with plenty of little useful things you might not expect like a great outdoor hose with a brush attachment too, perfect for cleaning off, in our case, paddleboards.

I believe there was a Haven event on the evening we arrived and the high volume of people was likely the cause of the 4G wifi module not really working that night however for the rest of the trip it was fairly stable with decent speed and usually reached most of the caravan but is something to note during busy times, especially as I did not have any mobile signal inside.

Double bed was uncomfortable and the sofa was not good to sit on as could feel metal from sofa bed. Also we were not informed that the park shop and takeaways were closed

Wonderful view, lovely and warm and cosy and everything we could have possibly needed, thank you very much for the welcome gifts too!!

3 ladies there and we wanted to use the sofa bed and not share a room and there was no extra bedding, didn't realise we needed to mention that to the owners. No blackout blinds so it was a bit bright. We used bedding off one of the single beds so it was fine but just a heads up, thought it might have been in a wardrobe or something but didn't find it. Also if you are going in the next week or so take ear plugs because there is loud construction noise from the railway line at night which was so annoying! Not sure the site passes were worth buying as we didn't use the facilities much, the pool was mostly for kids.

It was lovely and had everything you would need , comfortable bed makes a difference and the view was amazing

There was nothing to dislike, we enjoyed it so much we extended it for a extra two days
