The Shore Agonda

Nice modern, clean accommodation right on the beach. One of the better accommodation in India on the beach. Kettle in the room with tea and coffee and 2 waters every day. Cleaning every day, the staff try to be nice and helpful.

The menu in the restaurant is very ambitious but in reality - very poor cuisine. Indian dishes are well done, but other dishes - unfortunately old vegetables, brown wilted salad, cucumber like rubber, ... if you don't like Indian dishes, the rest are completely out of the question. The most expensive dishes I've eaten on the beach and unfortunately the worst quality. There were no sun loungers on the beach due to turtle nesting.

The room had the best view, comfy bed and was cleaned to a high standard. The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, great choices. The location is right on the beach, glorious, watching the world go by sipping cocktails on New Year’s Day.

-Great location right on the empty sandy beach - Good staff and people -generally nice architecture and build of the room - lots of great reasturants within 5 min walking distance

-lack of maintenance. Poor workmanship. Things are all broken in the room - Lack of electricity. In the 5 days we stayed 3 days the power kept going off every 5 min. No electricity = no laptop, no chagred cellphones, no electrical gagets, no internet, no warm water etc...
