The Little Grebe

Location was exactly what we were looking for. It was great with a 4 year old. Made friends with all the animals. We will be back again.

Nikki and Richard were warm and welcoming on arrival. Nikki showed us around the facilities in the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious and has been beautifully restored, they have clearly put a lot of effort into bringing the farm and wildlife back to life, it was such a relaxing place to be. Nikki also took the time to show us around the farm and introduce us to the animals which was great fun, they were both such genuine and friendly hosts. We would love to stay again next time we’re in the area.

The heaters was not that effective so it was quite cold in the night There was a smell in the main bedroom

Spacious upstairs apartment newly renovated occupying cottage upstairs. A well equipped kitchen and beautifully decorated to a high standard. A great getaway location to chill out. Loved all the rescue animals...

Smallish bathroom, but well provisioned

Beautiful location, felt very secluded but only 30 minutes from the coast. The various animals rescued by the owners are a nice addition for animal lovers. Samson the goose was particularly entertaining to our 11yo. Would recommend as a base for road cycling. Plenty of challenging climbs to and from the property.

We're spoiled with a extra soft bed at home but slept well on the firm double bed.
