Riverfront home within walking distance of Helen

There were plenty of sleeping options for a family/multi-family trip. Owner was very responsive through texts. Location was close, but not quite walking distance to central downtown.

Could not use hot tub due to lower railing being broken. Certain fixtures were out such as the light leading to downstairs leading to a safety concern and one of the fans in the room was out. There was very little toilet paper (1.5 rolls) for 10 people. Had to ask for it. The cleaning company had left a mouse trap with two dead mice in one of the mechanical storage areas (where the bunk beds are meaning kids would explore and find it, which they did). Lots of indicators of needing new cleaning company - had to rewash all dishes as many dishes still had food on them. Porch area was full of leaves and looked unkempt. Unclear if linens were fully washed to include comforter.

Nothing

The outside porch was filthy. We had to clean the place inside and out. The coffee pot had an old soiled filter with slime, smelled of cat urine, maid worked into the evening while there and ran out of sheets. Could not use the downstairs floor so closed it off, Bulbs out everywhere, we cleaned refrigerator as old food was in it. We unloaded previous guests dishes out of dishwasher, we had to go to store to buy paper towels, tissues and toilet paper.

The house was very nice and clean!

The air conditioning wouldn't go below 74 on the main level and it was not very cool in the basement room either. Thankfully the fan kept me cool enough to sleep. The air conditioning on the top floor was great. The adults were very unhappy that we did not have access to the hot tub-that was a big let down. The first morning the shower head fell off on my son in law's head while he was showering. There is several spiders on main floor deck and upper deck. Google said they were venomous so we didn't use the decks. Several of the outlets would not work.

Couldn't get to water from the house. That's the main reason we rented it. The house was not clean. We had to buy batteries before we could watch TV.

It was well decorated clean and roomy. Loved the bunk room.

Beds were very firm. Not my preference but some of the group loved it.

The layout of the house, the location from town was perfect.

Very clean, roomy, and fully stocked with necessities.

Steep hill

Very roomy and had lists of extra nice things.

We loved it.
