NEW RENOVATED FARM river view Cabin with wood burner pet friendly fire pit bbq

We hired both barns and had a lovely stay with the family, such a beautiful location with amazing views. A perfect place to bring kids with lots of space to play, they loved meeting all the animals, especially the piglet which they got to hold and feed, it made their stay! Morag was very helpful and friendly, hopefully we'll be back in the summer

Very friendly and lovely settings. The kids loved the animals and the firepit. The beds were very comfy. Would be a great cabin for family stay or girlie weekend.

Just be aware that it is one big room so no privacy - not an issue for us as family.

This quite something, this place! It's very much a decorated shed on a farm, but what decoration, what a shed :) The beds were comfy and inviting, and while cooking facilities were basic we enjoyed a lovely meal. We arrived late so didn't get to enjoy all the farm had to offer, and a summer-time visit would be smashing instead of our hurried stop on a long road journey. Morag and Pip were very welcoming.

Just be aware that behind the glamour the facilities are pretty basic: you're staying in a tarted-up shed, with cold water and a stove top. The generator in the next field was noticeable once night fell, and might bother some people expecting all twinkly starlight and bleating lambs. I've lived on a farm so know what to expect - they are busy places.

My kids enjoyed very much, especially feeding the animals.

Beautiful location with lots to explore. We loved our stay in the barn- the decor was gorgeous, bed was very warm and comfy, outdoor seating and fire was also lovely. Waking up to the cockerel, donkeys and sheep with the most stunning view was a real treat. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay in the country but also very close to the nightlife in Hertford so the best of both worlds.

The barn was a bit cold on arrival and it would be better if the toilet facilities were a bit closer but other than this it was perfect.

An oasis of joy within a hop from main arteries Fantastically unique set on a farm the hosts really focused on a warm welcome and our comfort. Our favourite moment was bbqing with the donkeys and sheep who came to join us overlooking the hills.
