Ocean Surf House

Great stay! The staff were super friendly, the house was clean and comfortable, and the food was fresh and tasty. The beach is very close and there are plenty of fun activities.

The staff were great, we would play cards in the evenings (some of us would just watch the cards 👀😂), and hangout a bit at breakfast. The roof terrace was lovely to sit and read and there is a great working/reading room which I really liked. The location is wonderful, so close to the beach and easy to get taxis if you need. This is not to do with the hostel, but the area - do be aware if you've not been before that the Mosques have several calls to prayer throughout the day including very early morning. There are several mosques close by and it can be startling to wake up to it. A good set of earplugs will do the trick.

The pillows were awful - but I kept forgetting to ask for a different one. I really think they should be replaced. It was like a pillow case stuffed with bunched up socks 😂 The beds were fine (I stayed in two different rooms) but very springy which I personally find uncomfortable.
