Cozy Retreat in Windhoek

WiFi connection was bad

The apartment is located in the center of Windhoek within a short walk to all the main attractions. It is a new, comfortable and safe apartment complex. The apartment has all the essential amenities.

We were asked to check in to a different apartment than the one we booked on Booking. When we were approaching the building the host messaged us informing us that the original apartment is not suitable for us to check in. When we arrived at the apartment there was a strong smell of detergents and insecticides. We saw cockroaches, so it seems that the cleaners tried to get rid of them. We were worried that we could get poisoned, so we had to open all of the windows. Since it was winter, it was very cold. And on the last morning, there was no electricity in the apartment. Since we had to check out early in the morning, it was very dark.
