GBGBWe had a wonderful 2 night stay at the cottage which was very modern, clean and in a superb location for us visiting family. The cottage is beautifully finished with inbuilt storage, plush carpet and a sleek but cosy finish throughout. The hosts were fantastic, Steve and Steph provided great communication and information regarding the facilities and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay. All the necessities were provided including towels, bedding, fresh milk, tea etc and a lovely added gesture of a large box of biscuits was much appreciated. WiFi and information about the local area is also provided. Steve and Steph were so kind and accommodating, allowing us a later than usual check-out and Steve was regularly close by on the weekend if we needed anything but not obtrusive in any way. The cottage is located next to their main property and parking is on their driveway right next to the property providing easy access. 2 minutes walk down the lane there are wonderful views of the countryside of the Forest of Dean. This was an ideal location for us a few minutes walk away from family and is perfect for anyone wishing to explore the beautiful surrounding area of the Forest. We can thoroughly recommend Old Butt Cottage and hosts Steve and Steph. We have no doubts we will book again for future visits.

GBGBThe property is outstanding ,everything you need is there for you. All that you could wish for and more what a super place it is. Steve the host was excellent if you needed anything , which we didn’t, you could tell he would help you anytime .lovely little welcome pack milk biscuits etc.Charming court yard area with a gas barbecue if you needed it.
The bed was comfy but a bit too soft for us personally. And that’s is the only negative I could think of.
GBThe Ole Butt Cottage was amazing, it had everything we could wish for...It is modern, beautiful, clean, all amenities. Box of biscuits, milk, coffee and tea bags, all waiting for us on arrival. Good location to do Forest of Deen walks, visit the Wales, Castles and other attractions...
GBIt was very cosy and secluded. Very clean and modern with everything you need.
Upstairs was a bit warm but overall perfect
GBSteve introduced himself as soon as we arrived and was very helpful, giving advice on places to visit etc. The annex is very comfortable and modern. Could not have any complaints at all considering we were the first customer that stayed there. Will definitely be going back soon for a nice chilled out weekend away.
