The Priory House

We were lucky enough to be given a free up grade for our first night , so stayed in the top floor apartment , extremely spacious , views are amazing .

Location, size and the lovely wine and tea on arrival was very much appreciated

Beautiful views, huge lounge, great options for TV and location was brilliant. There was an issue with lounge sofa bed bedding, and a dirty kitchen towel, but the host reconciled it in a timely and friendly manner. Parked right outside for free and it was easy access to get in. The price was right for three people and it had just enough to get us through one night.

This flat definitely needs few grand invested and it would be incredible. The views and lounge area were absolutely brilliant, but the place left something to be desired. Things like no shelving area in the bathroom, no towel holder, only a small makeup mirror, etc. I would suggest bringing an eye mask if you are staying in the lounge on the sofa bed as the street lamps were very bright at night and at 5am the whole place was lit up from sunrise. The bathroom was an ensuite to the bedroom so it wasn't great for third person having to go through in the night, but it was fine.

We stayed in 2 apartments in Priory House. We got moved due to dirt and a dangerously hot shower in first. Both are run-down and tatty. Windows in standard apartment very draughty so cold living space. Shower was dangerously hot and the fixings broken. We were told a previous guest turned the water temperature up but other reviewers cite the same issue. Trip hazard into and out of bedroom with no warning signs. Trip hazard with raised carpet. Exposed sockets. Double glazing in windows blown so supposed sea view isn't possible. Top of wardrobes covered in debris and old toilet roll. Someone tried to get in our apartment. The whole building is run down.

The location and parking were great. Spacious apartment, comfortable bed. Good tv streaming service.

Fridge not clean, dried spilt milk on fridge surface. Freezer needed defrosting. Window blinds were in a dreadful state, no curtains, so sun shone through the I’ll fitted blinds in bedroom on morning. Only one own in apartment, no baking trays, bin bags or cleaning products. Plates greasy and had to wash all cups and crockery before use.

The location is excellent, we were offered free parking and ann upgrade. Provided linen and towels.
