Moon River House

Absolutely incredible place to stay and the family who own it are just absolutely gorgeous. The pool was a life saver with the humidity and we given bikes to use at our leisure. So much space across the three levels and the facilities are modern and clean. There was a beautiful welcome package on the table, that included a delicious bottle of red, and a city map to help us get around. We were so looked after and feel very lucky to have stayed here.

Air conditioner down stairs would be a improvement.

In my opinion the best place to stay in Hoi An! If you don’t want any hotel this place is for you. In house is everything you need, small pool, two bathrooms. All in high standard. Lady with her son who run that place are awsome and very friendly. On arrival they prepared very nice welcome basket for us 😃. On one day we have been asked if we want breakfast(some regional dish) and on next day lady and her son brought for us two big bowles of noodles, fried spring rolls, plate of prawns and two iced coffees. She also gave to us pack of mangosteens. It was such a great meal. Our stay couldn’t be better then that.

Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, absolutely perfect for working remotely. Fantastic host! Owner is so helpful and welcoming! Perfect stay, we hope we will be back one day :) 10/10

This is a spectacular place to stay - you get a brand new 3 storey villa right on the river all to yourself. The ground floor has a courtyard with plunge pool, kitchen, bathroom and living area; the first floor has a large bedroom, another bathroom and a balcony; and the top floor has a larger balcony with great views up and down the river - lovely spot to have a glass of wine as the sun sets. Everything is of a very high standard, better than the 5 star hotel we stayed in in Hanoi. The hosts are lovely and welcomed us like family - they provide free bikes, gave us snacks and a welcome bottle of wine, and sorted out tours and transfers. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is good for us - on the peaceful local island a 5-7min bike ride to the main tourist areas. Wifi fast and reliable. We would give this 20 out of 10 if we could.

Everything was perfect

This property was lovely and clean. It has its own private pool and a view over the river. It’s a short walk into the centre and the night market. The owner and her son were lovely, she sorted out our laundry and even lent us bicycles to get around. On our last night she cook us dinner and bought us beer!! Would definitely stay again.

Absolutly fantastic stay! The apartment is huge and the facilities are all of a very high quality! Free bottle of wine on check in and snacks, free bike etc. Certainly one of the best places I have ever stayed! I will 100 percent return!
