Dreamers' Escape

It did have a nice view of the bay, but you really had to be on the small terrace to see it. Only comfortable seat on the terrace was unusable from the rain (wet seat). I had thought that the location would be good for access to Sorrento, but the 200 (or so) steps down from the parking area (and then back up) over olive covered pavers made it not so convenient as thought.

The description did not accurately reflect the access down the 200 or so steps down from the parking area. The GPS coordinates took us to a location on the busy highway from which there was no access instead of the parking area location. The condition was lousy with many items within in very poor condition...they didn't even wash the dishes from the previous occupant. NOT a place for anyone with mobility issues. When we finally managed to meet up with the owner to get in, she offered to help with our luggage and managed drag and scrape up what had been a nice piece of luggage. The spa in the middle of the living area looked neat in the photos, but it was just in the way an no effective way to move around the only seat in the living area. The shower in the bedroom area (20 steps down from the living area) was NOT a treat with a calcified shower head that mostly leaked around the edges. The nearly constant drone of traffic (accentuated by the loud trucks, motorcycles, and busses) on the mani road was only a few feet away from the view side on the place. This very neglected place needs a lot of work to elevate it to a barely acceptable status. There's more, but suffice to say "Dreamer's Escape" was more of a nightmare that needed an escape.

View was to die for. TV and bath were amazing. Welcome pack was fabulous, we were able to eat and drink for 2 days, so so lovely so helpful. Local bus into Vico Equense was great we then got on train to Sorrento and to Naples too!

Balcony was a bit unloved. The traffic on road outside never stopped day and night, nose to tail. Only a microwave and hob to cook on. Bedroom curtains needed to be blackout ones.

Good location with the nice view.

Moisture in the house you can feel.
