We.carried our own breakfast but it would be no trouble to stock up once there as the supermarket was only 5 mins away.

We had no faults.

Excellent hosts who have a beautiful house. The unit is a fully self contained part of the over all house at the front of the property.

The front window, sliding door and a small terrace are at the front of the property which face the street rather than Lake Taupo. Infact, the lake cannot be seen unless through a high window above the bed, and then, only whilst standing. Also given the amount of vacancies in Taupo itself would suggest the property which is well out of town is a little over priced.

Beautiful place to stay! Loved the guest book, such a nice touch also the bed was lush. The area was peaceful, making it the perfect spot to have a quiet evening after a day on the lake. Highly recommend, would love to stay again.

Comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room in a modern house.

The blinds let in light around the edges in the morning, so you could be awake early if you wake up with the light like I do. Hubby was able to continue sleeping though :-)

A nice quiet location (when the owners dog-not barking or owner not mowing the lawns)

A small sweat box attached to someone's house. Advertised with air conditioning and parking. The air conditioning is a vent from the house which you have no control over unless you message the owner to turn it on and off...and it barely makes any difference. Catches all the afternoon sun and is an absolute sauna in the afternoon. Effectively it does not have air conditioning so be aware of that. Parking is on the street which is where you are asked to park by the owners. For some reason the owner decided to mow lawns and weed eat outside the room while my wife was trying to enjoy some peace and quiet which was quite unbelievable. There really isn't any view unless you stand up and look through the owners house windows. This place is a misrepresentation and definitely would not stay again.

We loved everything - from the quiet, close to the lake and many amenities location, new stunning facility, absolutely clean room, very comfortable beds, lovely natural materials (crisp cotton sheets and cotton bedspread, feather and down cushions), lovely kitchenette and heated floor bathroom, warmed up room upon our arrival, and Helen's smile, easy, fast communication and kindness).
