NAMO Guest House

Location is great for my purpose. It's very close to Kashi railway station. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom has good space. Western style toilet. Basin, shower available. And the room is fitted with an AC, so you can have your comfort during the hot days.

The arrangement of the beds in the dormitory room was okay for me, but you may feel stuffy if you are claustrophobic.

Room was ok but practically no side table or any shelf was thr to keep your phone or specs or stuff like that. You have to keep it on the bed. Thr was no ventilation in the room no window. at night it was suffocating and thr was no dustbin provided in the washroom. Although the room was fine but these little things matter a lot n cause discomfort. Needs improvement.

Water was not provided even after what they charged for room after telling them so then they provided. Room for a lot of improvement

Stupid management and employees

The beds are super comfortable with only 6 beds in a dorm each bed is like a 3/4 or double. There is an individual plug, fan and light in your cubicle with a really good curtain which blocks out a lot of light if others are still awake. The a/c was a huge lifesaver as the heat in varanasi was unbearable. The location is 20min walk from Namo ghat which is beautiful but all concrete so at peak summer it is very difficult to walk around as there are barely any trees. In the evening it's great for meditation.

The location is a bit further out from any main ghats, so you have to take a toto everywhere. (They are not difficult to find as they are parked by the petrol pump outside). The only other issue was the bathroom. In the mixed dorm it's a traditional indian bathroom which had a tendency to smell quite bad even when they cleaned it every day.
