"Exceptional"

Absolutely stunning view, great food and the first warm shower after 3 weeks stay at Philippines. A great remote area with an adventurous hike if you arrive at night. Very warm, welcoming and caring hosts. Small site advise: Bring enough cash, there is no ATM available in this lovely village.

"A memorable and worth stay"

The staff (Jun and Karla) were attentive to our needs. They were nice and always happy to help. The location is great if you really want a nice overview of Batad Rice Terraces but be ready for a 20-min walk from the car park to the pension house. It was a bit of a struggle for us because we were not used to hiking and trekking.

Definitely, I liked the view. The hosts were well-accommodating as per request. Thank you to the host and family for inviting me to celebrate with them during the New Year.❤️ Just an advise for coming here, or Batad in general: one should consider preparing for exploring around in this place, because it would be tiring and painful for someone who does not do intensive workout or trek in a regular basis. You will miss out on seeing some scenic views if you have to cancel trips because you feel your knees might give out. Be ready for seemingly endless stairs (going down and coming back up), slim and slippery walkways through rice paddies, and some parts that are rugged.😁

No mobile network signal, but they do have vouchering system for limited wifi access (like Piso WiFi)_ being sold at stores or homestays.

"Great location and great staff!"

The hotel staff was very enthusiastic in telling us stories about the Philippines and the rice terraces from the past to the present, which raised my resolution about the Philippines and its World Heritage sites, and I had a wonderful few days. They are always on standby in the morning and at night to cook for me!

I was confused because I was not familiar with the shower and toilet systems.

The location was more than beautiful. It's pretty remote but for the price it was worth it. You can also eat here which is extremely convenient and the food was delicious.

There wasn't anything that really stood out. Everything was either up to standard or right at standards
