La Pelle

This was a great location in Soufriere, close to the supermarket, the beach, walk to diamond falls and botanical gardens, and has a great view and balcony as well!

Location was very good - close to grocery store and walking distance to beach. Definitely gives you a more local experience compared to resorts. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The space was clean and comfortable.

Air conditioning is only in the bedroom (common and expected in this part of the world), but we could only partially open many of the windows so was difficult to get a breeze. Otherwise the space was perfect for us.

Great accommodation, very clean and in really good location. Close to grocery store, restaurants and other attractions. Very recommended 👍

La Pelle is situated in the New Development area in the back streets of Soufriere, about 20 minutes walk to the centre of the town by a variety of routes and about 7 minutes from a good supermarket. It is part of an attractive looking building and has an excellent view over Soufriere towards Petit Piton both from the balcony and from the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom very effectively air conditioned. We were met on arrival and shown around the property, and it was useful to have this contact while we were there. The main room was very sizeable with a high ceiling, large new kitchen and big dining table.

The aircon did not extend beyond the bedroom except in the form of a high ceiling fan which moved the warm air about. Bizarrely, there was no light in the kitchen area at all, and we had to use mobile phone torches in order to cook in the evenings. The apartment is approached by 36 outside steps: not easy if you are carrying suitcases. As a relatively fit couple in our 70s we just about coped, but be warned!

We had an excellent stay. Everything was very clean and the updated. Our host was very helpful and made check in and out very easy. The location was great and close to all the area’s attractions and beaches. We will definitely stay again on the next trip down.

Really lovely apartment. Modern, stylish and well kitted out. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and well protected from the regular showers giving us a wonderful place to relax.

Slightly longer walk down to the town and beach than we had anticipated and for those in hire cars be warned that the road to the apartment is very bumpy (as many in St Lucia are!)

Spacious and comfortable with lovely view from the balcony. Host very friendly. Handy for Massys supermarket and Fedo's Restaurant. Good location for exploring attractions around Soufriere.

Not enough lighting in cooking area.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, wonderful view of the Piton. Very close is super restaurant Fedo's, supermarket is 5 minutes walk, 15 minutes to the beach. Even Diamond Falls are accessible on foot. Owner helped with booking taxis and local tours. Helpful and nice lady. I did not have the slightest problem with the accommodation.

Location excellent, 15 min walk to seafront. Nice beach. Easy going local restaurants. Very friendly locals .

No hairdryer was literally the only short coming !
