The Gwbert Hotel

Expedia.co.uk over charge me according to Gwbert Hotel by £15.60. Can expedia explain the difference why this happend. Not happy with expedia the way they do transactions . Hope to hear from you soon John

Excellent hotel and location.

Very comfortable & quiet space, I slept very well.

nice place just next to the shore, room big & clean, delicious breakfast.

While the hotel itself was ok , found the staff rather curt and less friendly than any other point in our UK trip thus far. Not welcoming in the least and frankly acted like they were tired of the tourist season and just wanted to be done. Beautiful town and area though. Maybe we just caught them on an off night?

Such a warm and welcoming hotel where everyone is really friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Room had views of the sea, and the food was amazing, served quickly, hot to the table and swapping around menu was no issue. Bed doesn’t compare to Premier Inn beds but big plus was windows that open.

What a wonderful couple of nights we spent at the Gwbert hotel. I spent every summer holiday as a child in Gwbert and remember the building as a rather ramshackled Anchor Hotel and a small shop where I used to buy my penny sweets! The conversion to this lovely hotel is wonderful to see. Lovely views of Cardigan Bay and Teifi Estuary and we were able to hear the waves crashing at night. Food was delicious and the breakfasts were superb. Lovely friendly staff. Only negative was a damp smelling bathroom.
