Casa Hillary Guest House

Mr Denis was so hospitable and respectful. He made us Rose tea which was delicious! He was trained on cruise ships to the highest standards so he knows what hes doing. His English is excellent and he understood our needs. He piggybacked the 2 of us into town on his scooter where there is a restaurant which other customers recommend as cheap and good food. He even went to the money changer for us. He is very proud of his establishment and has worked hard to achieve. Room is impeccable clean. Mr Denis picked up breakfast for us in the morning. We were sad to leave.

Everything was superb!

Casa Hillary is charming, the location is perfect in a quiet serene location, but it is a two-minute walk to a stunning beach and also a two-minute walk to the local shops and restaurants. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle, to enjoy the peace in the evenings, with plenty of activities. I stayed for 10 days, and most evenings there was a game of Babminton going on, or we had a BBQ another evening which I enjoyed with other guests. Dennis and his staff were fantastic, and couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend Casa Hillary, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptional. perfect location for a solo traveller or family. Can't wait to visit again :)

We recently visited Goa and had the pleasure of staying at Casa Hillary guest house. The resort exceeded our expectations in many ways, particularly with its serene and peaceful atmosphere. The calm surroundings, free from the noise of traffic and honking, made our stay exceptionally relaxing. One of the standout features of Casa Hillary is its affordability compared to other resorts in the area, offering great value for money without compromising on quality. Additionally, the resort's location is perfect—just a short walk from the beach, which made our daily seaside visits effortless and enjoyable. A special mention must go to the owner, Denies, who is incredibly hospitable and genuinely kind-hearted. His helpful recommendations for local restaurants made our dining experiences in Goa memorable, ensuring we tasted the best of the region's cuisine. Overall, Casa Hillary is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a peaceful, budget-friendly stay with exceptional service and a prime location near the beach. We would highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a rejuvenating stay in Goa.

Its location and the host

Denis the host was fantastic. He made contact in advance of our stay and couldn't have been more hospitable, including some great local recommendations. The room was good, with hot water and strong A/C and not far from Colva centre or the beach.

Though prime location in Colva, the place is slightly secluded and peaceful. Have direct access to beach but only during daylight hours, narrow path not safe during night. Have to go around the road during night. Host was very friendly and helpful. Kids love the open play area with sand. A swing and slide is missing.

very nice place near colva beach , I personally recommend this property for family and bachelor's can enjoy the spacious area where u cab party. Friendly property owner

The room was super clean and the owner very lovely. The location was amazing and overall great atmosphere! Would recommend 100%. I’d describe it as a perfect stay.

The Host was super nice. The hospitality is amazing. The property is situated just nearby the sea. There is so much greenery around.
