Villa Bella Sera

Fantastic location right on the water. Very clean and comfortable. Owners were very responsive and helpful, even arranging a taxi for us to meet our ferry in Reggio Calabria when we checked out. It’s small, but even with our 13yo daughter we were comfortable for four nights.

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance and to reach with luggage. You need to enter via the low path at the water and wait for the owner there. A bit tricky with heavy cases, but if you travel light, it’s no problem.

Lovely view, lovely lady looked after us. Location and town are really nice. Nice free coffee and use of fridge, the 'lovely lady' also gave us a kettle.... Beautiful Terrace (provided you are not in the top/first room!)

No direct access to the sea, which we thought would be the case from images on booking.com. Room was small

We were very thrilled with the balcony we had all to ourselves. The room was small, but we were able to manage for our 4 nights.

It is a shared apartment complex in a way, there are different rooms. We had to share a tiny fridge with a room above us. Due to the lack of space and no kitchen we did have to eat out every day. This was not a huge problem for us since it was only 4 days.

The location was amazing. Listening to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. I didn't want to leave.

The place itself is amazing. The guy who we interacted with was really down to earth and after we checked out we forgot our bluetooth speaker at the property. He was willing to send it back to our adress in different country with no problem. Excellent communication and service:) Thank you very much

Right on the seafront, with no one around and a few steps from a little beach. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves, the location is great and super close to the streets of Chianalea, there’s parking nearby, and the hosts were very helpful and communicative. A glorious hidden gem that I hope to return to one day.
