Lovely rural location surrounded by stunning fellside views Friendly family run business Comfy clean rooms and v tasty breakfast

Our only sadness is that we couldn’t try the evening meals as the restaurant is closed Tues / Wed night but found some lovely places to eat in Keswick

Superb place to stay and the staff were wonderful!

Wonderful stay, the Swinside Inn is located in the stunning Newlands valley. All the rooms have undergone renovation and are beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable. The bedroom enjoyed fantastic views to Grisedale Pike and Cats Bells and beyond. All the staff were super friendly and efficient and the breakfasts were first class and set us up for our days hiking in the mountain. We’ll be returning for sure.

The property is tucked away in beautiful countryside. The food is excellent & staff very friendly & helpful

You can’t get an evening meal on Tuesday & Wednesday which is a shame as the food is lovely

Location is excellent with hikes just minutes from the door, loads of parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice food, good amenities

They could have do not disturb signs for doors in the rooms available, was quite hot in the room because the radiator turn switch was stuck on hot
