"Excellent"

A pleasant hotel in a good location, our suite was large, luxurious and well equipped with a great balcony. The staff is good and courteous and there is a nice cafe/bar downstairs.

The suite had a large set of towels, at least 4 of which were shower towels - they were stained with orange stains, which made us ask for new towels in the lobby and the feeling of cleanliness was not as expected.

"A great alternative to dull corporate hotels"

Most mid-range city centre hotels in the US are corporate and suitably dull and standardised. Found Re is different: it's funky, the decor is a play on the industrial look, more like a New York loft conversion than a downtown hotel. The walls are lined with artwork by local artists, some of it appealing and all of it for sale. There's a very friendly bar with a decent menu open to the street when the weather allows and a great breakfast offer too.
