Sulu Sunset Beach Resort

We stayed in the deluxe A/C room and it was perfect. Good warm shower, spotlessly clean, well stocked fridge and very quiet split A/C. The bed is large and comfortable. Everything looks and feels very well maintained. Exactly as described in the listing description. The huge dog is awesome! The staff were very friendly and approachable, thanks to Shay, Di and Grace.

The food choices were good but the flavour was a little bland. My only real complaint is the room service charge, I don't understand why I have to pay 10% for room service. The staff are already being paid to work the whole day so why do I have to pay extra for room service when the staff are not even busy? It would be nice if the sun loungers on the beach were a bit more spread out for more intimacy.

This is the spot for families or couples/single travelers looking for some good old fashioned quiet time. Restaurant is good and well stocked, staff are just lovely, it’s not at all overpriced or loud.

Everything is fine, but if you need solid internet connection for work or if you don’t have a vehicle and plan to spend time in town, message them first as these could be troublesome.

Beautiful view and large lot on the ocean. Nicely garden setting with well spaced cottages. Cottage was simple but nice enough. Strong water pressure! Nice wood tables and great beach furniture everywhere. Fast water refilling station with nice tasting water!

Food is average at best. Staff disappears from the restaurant quite a bit and we would say that everyone on site could work on customer service and hospitality. We would definitely return because it's very chill and relaxing.

The entrance had me thinking I'd booked a very budget place. I spoke with the owner and he is upgrading the entry experience. Once you're through that, it's a different place
