Historic Red Rooster Inn

This is an old hotel in the center of town that has been totally renovated and looks great. they also have a restaurant and brewery downstairs with great food and beer! The Hillsboro downtown is quaint and the location is perfect. They had a nice touch in our room with snacks and coffee from local shops. I would definitely stay again.

The Historic Red Rooster Inn was a destination! It has been beautifully renovated and updated. A great deal of attention to detail and much love has been put into the property. We loved the bar/restaurant as well. The game room downstairs offers all manner of entertainment. The owners and staff were wonderful and kind. It is difficult to convey with mere words how much we enjoyed our stay and sojourn in Hillsboro. We strongly recommend anyone looking for a country getaway to reserve a stay at the Red Rooster Inn! Well worth it!

It was a very enjoyable stay. My only regret was, I was feeling poorly, and not up to trying the restaurant, but that is a good reason to return.

Have stayed at The Red Rooster many times over the last 40 years. Love the beautiful restorations to grand old place! Bed was comfortable and enjoyed the early morning Sunday church bells. Hope to stay again sometime next year.

This is a one-of-a-kind property. My room was perfect and attention to detail was amazing. The cleanest and most comfortable room I've every stayed in.
