Entire home in Sheffield

The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need. Although there was a few broken kick boards and the cooker wasn't brilliant.

The house is pretty rundown so the photos on Booking.com are a bit catfished. There were hairs in and around the bath, and the bathroom floor was dirty. The bed sheets were stained and the property felt like it needed a good deep clean. The owners had asked for us not to go into the garden as they are renovating it, which was fine but the weeds were waist high and just looked really messy and untidy.

Tv didn’t work only to watch box sets Toilets wonky No. workable basin in bathroom Kerb appeal absolutely disgusting Couldn’t wait to get out of there I was really surprised that Booking.com even took it The price I paid was certainly not reflected in the quality of rental We were there to see family but I was too embarrassed to ask them there My bed was soooo lumpy and uncomfortable I could go on and on. Generally all very grotty and not worthy of letting to paying guests

Decent location and living space was nice and it was clean.

General weariness in the upkeep of the property - stains on ceilings, broken kickspaces in tbe kitchen, shortage of slats under one bed which my daughter almost went through and we had to rearrange when we arrived late at night, not enough towels supplied for the number advised staying, no working soap dispenser. The bathroom was pretty small which is fine but the sink over the toilet was hard to use. We had boiler problems which meant we had no hot water at one point - although resolved with a return call from the very nice owner. But from reviews it looks like that isn't the first time it's happened and hasn't been fixed.

Very cold, not easy to put the heater on. Wash bassin upstairs was part of the toilet not very convenient

The property appears from the pictures to be set in a country setting. From the pictures you can see it’s set next to boarded up houses and basically in a dumping ground. The property itself is filthy smells and the gardens are a disgrace. We were two ladies working away from home and did not feel safe in the surroundings i was very worried about leaving my car in that area. There was a pub across the road that had no roof and there was a number of groups of youths hanging round in that area smoking and drinking. We felt that unsafe we had to go an pay for another accommodation for the night. I have added pictures to show the accurate surroundings and the home itself
