Mango Tree House Mirissa

Cute self contained bed/bath and exclusive use of pool and outdoor area. Mosquito nets around the bed with great aircon. Owners were very lovely and have the cutest dog. Location is awesome, close to some beautiful restaurants.

Bed was very hard and not good for my back. Outside toilet during rain and evening wasn't ideal but thankfully there is another toilet that can be used. A small bar fridge would have been amazing to keep water cold.

Me and my family spent a really nice time at Mango Tree House! The place perfectly suites for a big family or group of friends if you rent both of two rooms. You'll get nice little garden with clean private pool illuminated at night time, so you can swim even it's dark (my kid adored it). Rooms are clean and new, with a/c and huge beds (kettle, tea cups and 2 big towels provided). There is the connecting door between two rooms that you can lock or keep opened. One room has tropical shower under the sky and ordinary bathroom other one. Hosts are a nice family always trying to help you whatever you need! It takes 5-10 mins walk to the nearest central beach or you can walk little bit longer to get Turtle beach good for swimming and kids. Thanks again for such a pleasant stay!

The room was clean and the air-con was amazing after a hot day at the beach. Walking distance to everything. The family couldn’t do more for you and were there if you needed anything/had any questions. The other room wasn’t occupied while we were there so had the pool to ourselves which was a treat. I’d definitely stay here again.

We felt so relaxed and comfortable here, the place was spotlessly clean with lots of space and a huge bed! The outdoor shower was lovely. Really nice garden area with table and chairs, washing line and a pool shared with the room next door so there is max 4 people using the pool but during our 4 nights we never really saw the people next door so we had it all to ourselves so it’s very private! The location is perfect just a 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants and bars. Very close to Shady Lane a must visit that serves the best veggy food! Walking back down the lane to the house at night we saw loads of fireflies which was amazing! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly giving us water on arrival and making sure we were comfortable! The pool was cleaned everyday. Their cousin next door had a laundry service and washed all of our clothes for us which was very helpful.

The only thing that lets it down is it doesn’t have Air Conditioning just a fan. We found it was very hot and we did struggle sleeping with the heat sometimes as the fan was just blowing the warm air about. Other than that this is a fantastic place to stay and we would go back.
