Quinta do Mateus

Mateus was very helpful. The room was spacious, lovely sheets, comfortable bed. Good parking. Fresh fruit, coffee, croissants, juice and water left out for guests. Room opened out onto a large enclosed terrace.

We thought we were getting a room with en-suite bathroom but we didn’t check the small print and the bathroom was shared. It was not a problem but we would not have booked if we had realized no bathroom. Maybe put that it had no en-suite in reservation information?

Not your usual b+b. It's an events venue with a few rooms on the first floor at the front. Beautifully-furnished, and quiet even though it's on the main road. Even though we weren't staying for one of the events, the manager made us feel like VIP customers. The garden at the back was huge and we wish we'd been able to spend more time in it. It's about 15 minutes easy walk to the station for the train to Porto.

Beliggenhet i nærhet av næringspark men stor flott parkaktig hage på baksiden av huset kompenserte for det.

Quarto sem casa de banho própria, mas a comum estava limpa e tudo a funcionar. E poderia ter ficado num quarto com casa de banho privativa se pagasse mais
