Greenwood Cottage, Somerset West

The cottage was warm and welcoming, very well equipped for anything you might need and spotlessly clean. There was fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived along with rusks on the counter, Tracey, our host, made us feel at home right away. We were colleagues travelling for work and it was really nice to have the inter-leading room with its own bathroom for privacy, essentially its 2-bedroom, both en-suite. Tracey was a very welcoming host and saw to everything we needed to make our stay at Greenwood Cottage comfortable. Due to the rainy weather during our stay, we were unable to make use of the braai/entertainment area or swimming pool next to the cottage, but hopefully next time. The bean-to-cup coffee machine was a bonus for those early morning starts.

This was our first time and it felt like we were staying in an oasis. The grounds are beautiful, the accommodation comfortable and the staff very friendly. We will definitely return, without a doubt.
