Nothing it was really lovely
GBLocation good, as able to walk to north and south bays. Accommodation done out to a good standard. Welcome pack a nice touch.
The front bedroom was an issue, as no curtains and the blind doesn't stop the daylight around the window, (woken up at sunrise 5 a.m ) Also, the pull out bed not very comfy for 2 adults.

Parking was an issue - very narrow streets and not easy to park near - zone area was large but very difficult to park or find a size that was accessible
GBLoved the decor and the welcome pack with information about the cottages family history. Comfy beds, fab kitchen and outdoor space. Bathroom was also lovely.
Another chair in the living room was needed for us to all sit together and the seats were adequate comfort wise for short stays but not for a week. Just my opinion.
GBGBGBWe had a lovely stay at the very well presented Sea Biscuit Cottage and would 100% stay here again if visiting Scarborough. All communication with the host before and during our stay was excellent. The location was superb - the town and both north and south beaches could easily be reached on foot - and parking outside the property was always simple. We could not fault the cleanliness and the quality of fittings, appliances, etc. Particularly, we liked the large bath and shower. The welcome/information booklet was interesting to read and very informative - it was nice reading about the house’s family history and connection! We didn’t have the weather to use the back yard space and although this is small, it is well kept, clean and boasts some good views (whilst not overlooked).
It wasn’t such a big deal for us, as there were only two of us, but the living room would benefit from more seating. Although the single chair is comfortable, could this perhaps be changed to a small 2-seater sofa or even a cuddle chair?
