The unit was lovely and comfortable. We loved spending time in the rooftop hot tub - it was summer and the temperature was set a bit cooler than a typical hot tub (but still warm/comfortable) which was perfect! The decor of the unit was cute and it felt authentic. There was tons of outdoor space. The Kitchenette was small but functional for cold drinks, breakfast snacks, etc. and Megalochori was such a fun little village. It felt much less touristy than Fira and Oía, but was quaint and beautiful. The unit’s proximity to the village and also the 24-hour family bakery was great. Good communication from hosts, and easy check-in/out.

These are more notes than dislikes - to help others with planning 1. Parking is about a 5 min walk away. The island is small but having a car was very helpful 2. There is no clothes dryer, instead you use a drying rack. Clothes dried very quickly so this worked out great

"Amazing cave villa with a super sweet and kind host"

Everything. The room is beautiful and the location is just perfect. It’s 5 min walking from the center of Megalochori and another 5 min from the most beautiful sunset spot with amazing views. Mary was attentive, kind and always available.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mary and Apostolos' place! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt right at home. The space is beautifully decorated, clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring great nights of sleep, and the quiet surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation. The location in Megalochori is perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. Mary and Apostolos were exceptionally accommodating and responsive, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort and exceptional hospitality, this is it. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Megalochori!
