The property is beautiful, as we drove in the views were already amazing. When we entered we were greeted in the reception area. We were advised that we could treat the hotel like a home and use the rooms downstairs to sit peacefully, listen to music or simply sit and think. There are board games available to use in the beautiful lounge. Tastefully decorated for the type of property, with comfortable chairs and standing lamps. The bar opposite continues through with the themes of old meets new. The bar offered many variates of drink. Sometimes a hotel bar only has a couple of choices, but not here. Pretty much everything, reasonably priced. We sat in the bar room for a little while and then ventured out side through to a sea view, it takes your breath away. Sitting outside on very good furniture was a lovely place for my husband and I to talk and laugh and feel at home, feel like ourselves. Up a beautiful staircase we entered the grand hallway with old wonderful furniture. Our room was large, 2 chairs by the window to sit and have tea. We will book a room with a sea view next time. Our bed was clean and comfortable . The facilities were good. It was lovely to have such warm water for a bath considering the size of the hotel and the other guests. We only stayed one night unfortunately. We will definitely be returning.

Some places were a little untidy. We understand fully that an old house / hotel invites spiders in to make webs which you can’t always get. But the room just needed a hover round and to dust the skirting boards. I know it sounds petty, but this is a criticism easily fixed.

Amazing location and a stunning property. Very clean and staff super friendly. Evening cheese board and Breakfast was excellent.

Very pleasant location for our stay in West Wales.

Paintwork needs freshening up a bit.

On arrival at the hotel they took my credit card number stating it was for an account for the bar and restaurant bill then proceed to charge me for the room even though I had already paid through booking. Com when I asked for a refund they fob me off saying that they were sorting it I was refunded the over payment at the end of my stay The hotel is run more like a bed and breakfast If you require the bar then you have to look around for someone to serve you they close the restaurant if there is less than 6 people dinning so you have to travel to find somewhere to eat The restaurant only opened Saturday night during our stay

Booked by work as bed only, but very happy with the hotel, very nice place, room was clean, bed was comfortable, and shower very good, when staying for work, thats all I care about! Hotel is in some lovely grounds, with views over the coast, and hills behind Aberporth, easy to find, staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice bar available, and places to site outside to enjoy the evening sunshine. As work paid, I have no comment on the value for money, but they wouldnt have sent me there if it was too expensive. Would happily go there again - even if I had to pay!

WiFi was a bit hit and miss in my room, but excellent cellular reception kept me online
