The area and it entrance to the building was a bit not so welcoming
GBCiuriddia Home was an ideal spacious apartment for 4 people. Very clean and modern with traditional Italian ceilings. The location was perfect for the sightseeing of Catania only a short walk into the centre. Catania is an ideal location for exploring Sicily and would highly recommend visiting Mount Etna, Taormina, Siracusa and the Island of Ortigia. Loris was the perfect host, very friendly and prompt in all communication.

CZThe apartment is big and spacious with beautiful interior. We enjoyed having breakfast bought in the local market in the spacious kitchen. The locality is good, quite close to the city center with a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. We appreciated the washing machine a lot. The host was very kind and helpful with everything. The parking in the street is free, although it is little bit stressful to park properly and not get the car scratched since it is very narrow, but we always found a safe space after all.
We missed sharp knives in the kitchen 😅
CZThe apartment is very nice, it looks and feels the same as in the pictures. All furniture is new and well-functioning. The apartment was spotless and equipped with all we needed. The host was nice and helpful. We had a couple of questions and he answered all of them.
There were two things we didn't like. First, the apartment is not in a very nice neighborhood. The street was a little dirty as people were leaving garbage bags in the street. That is common to the whole area though. The house where the apartment is located is not very nice and doesn't align with how modern and clean the apartment is. The hallway and stairs are dark and feel old and neglected. There is a facility across the street that stayed open very late and had visitors all night. The second thing is there was only one access key to the building/apartment. This can be very inconvenient if you are traveling with kids. If you want to leave your kids in the apartment and go out in the evening, you will need to either take the card with you and leave the kids in the dark and no wifi, or leave the card in the apartment, but then the kids will have to stay awake and let you in once you come back. This was annoying and I would recommend the owner to fix this.
