A house that met our needs and was in a great position to visit family. 10 minutes from meadowhall and lots of local eateries. Easy access to Rotherham, Doncaster, Swinton, Bolton-upon-Dearne and Mexborough

The beds were huge, so much space in the bedrooms. They also left tea, coffee and sugar in the kitchen, and body wash in the shower. Host was so friendly and accommodating.

The smell of cigarette smoke was unbearable, spent the first day with the windows open and spraying air freshener, 2 of us left with sore throats. Living room remote also didn’t work.

The location was good, the cleaner was very friendly and accommodating.

The Rose had only 1 bathroom+toilet, and 1 toilet, which isn't enough for 6 people.

The beds were new, large and very comfortable. Housing estate was quiet with lovely pub nearby. Shower was nice. Washing machine and drier were a bonus.

The place was filthy. Years of built up grime and dust in the corner of every room. Cobwebs and spiders everywhere. Toaster and dining table covered in crumbs. Floors not swept. Oven was unusable for 2 reasons, it was absolutely filthy and the settings symbols had been rubbed off. Had to eat out every night. Red sofa was rock hard. The place was laced with air freshener to cover a damp smell, plus cigarette/pet smells. Had to have doors and windows open when in the house. Back of fridge was on show/accessible as it overlapped the door frame and wood under sofa hanging down with nails hanging out. No window blind in the bathroom. Had to shower in the dark. No good for a family break. Only suitable for contractors in my opinion.
