"The worst experience"

The company renting out the apartment kept the amount for a day that I canceled and did not use, did not issue a refund, and refuses to take responsibility for the reimbursement, referring me only to Booking.com, who do not respond to my emails at all. After I submitted a complaint to Booking stating that too much money was charged because we canceled one day of the booking in due time, the host rejected the complaint, thus unlawfully keeping the money. Already on the first day, when we moved in, the door unlocking mechanism didn’t work, and we couldn’t open the door with the app. We spent a lot of time trying to get in until we were finally told where to find a regular key. The dishwasher doesn't work at all—dishes remain dirty and have to be cleaned by hand. There is no sink in the bathroom; instead, it’s located in the bedroom, which is quite strange and impractical. The apartment is not suitable for 4 people. There is only one double bed and one couch, which cannot accommodate two people—only one person can sleep on it. As a result, one person had to sleep on the floor, which is unacceptable considering the high price. Moreover, the area around the apartment is full of drunk people every single weekday, and there is no peace or quiet, as drinking and noise continue until morning every night. The surroundings are a disaster and not suitable for any kind of vacation. In short, we paid a high price for an apartment that is only suitable for 3 people, were charged for 4 people and even for canceled days, and received completely unprofessional treatment, including a demand to pay a penalty for checking out at 1 PM instead of 10 AM. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

"Would definitely return"

Great place to stay in the centre of Tilburg, location was fantastic and so was the apartment. Very accommodating host that ensured we were catered for as a large family.

Only criticism would be that only the double bed in the bedroom was made, the sofa beds needed arranging and making by us which wasn’t ideal with young children.

"Very disappointing and ruined part of our family trip away."

Overall not much. Bad experience.

First off, we arrived in the evening and could get access thru the main door to the apartment building. After long conversations with their service desk (you’re not speaking with the owner direct), it wasn’t resolved. Only way to get in was via another resident leaving. To make things worse, we woke up the next morning with builders working straight under our bedroom window. This in combo with still no resolution for the lock situation made us book another hotel for the following night to not have our trip away getting completely ruined. When complaining about this situation and asking for a refund, the owner declined and didn’t give a fck. I also did report of these events to Booking, twice via their message service, but no reply either. All in all very disappointing and would not recommend to book this place!

"Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the whole apartment."

The place was located around restaurants and the train station was about a 10 minute walk.

My family and I enjoyed staying here.
