AUOur host was most welcoming and hospitable. The location was amazing, exactly as we had hoped. The facilities were.convenient. The lodge was very homely. A superb stay and highly recommended.
The stay wasn't long enough. There were no deer for us to see.
GBBeautiful old lodge, surrounded by mature woodland and next to a stream. Dimitra was the perfect host - always available if you had any questions or needed anything, without being overbearing. We arrived to fresh flowers, cake and wine which made us feel really welcome. The lodge is in a great location for trips to Cahir, Cashel, Clonmel or Tipp Town and there are loads of great hikes nearby. Inside, the property was spotless and had everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip.

GBThe house is set in a quiet, peaceful location nestled in the woods, with lovely hill walks and plenty of nature all around. The property itself was in excellent condition — clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and it felt classy and well thought out throughout. The rooms were spacious, with a great walk-in wardrobe that kept the bedroom uncluttered. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and having washing facilities available was a big plus. Parking was right outside the property, and there were also nice outdoor areas to sit, eat, or relax. Dimitra, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and Cahir town is just a 10-minute drive away.
NLDe locatie ligt in een bos het is er erg rustig geen verkeer hoor je daar. Als je het bergpad omhoog loopt kom je altijd wel herten of een vos tegen.

GBJust returned from the most amazing stay at Wood House Lodge. The accommodation was absolutely gorgeous, so quaint and so clean. The location is beautiful, I loved sitting outside for my morning coffee, really tranquil and relaxing. Dimi was the most incredible host, nothing was too much trouble, she is so friendly. We will definitely be back.
GBThe lodge is in a perfect location with a stream running to it's edge and surrounded by forest with deer and footpaths. Quiet, comfortable and within easy reach of the local town of Tipperary with it's shops and a couple of supermarkets. It also made a great base for exploring Ireland with Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and the Atlantic coastline being comfortable day trips away in the car. Would highly recommend Wood House Lodge as a holiday destination.
