The View

I recently stayed at this apartment, and it was clear the place had not been checked after the previous guests. I had to start my vacation by cleaning up the mess left behind. The trash had attracted a lot of ants into the house. There was leftover food in the fridge, a dirty dishwasher, and unclean kitchen supplies. The counters were not cleaned, and dirty bed covers and towels were left behind. After several attempts to contact the owner to inform them of the situation, it seems they had turned off their phone and were also not answering any of my emails. I don't recommend this place!

Good location, good refreshments, good for one night

The bed was so softy. We can't find tea, and host can't help with tea.

The apartment is lovely with big kitchen and bathroom and lots of beds and a magnificent view of the town, mountains and lake. It was warm and had a parking space and was nicely decorated. There was a big patio to enjoy the view.

We had trouble finding the place with gps taking us in all directions. Specific info about how to locate via gps was not sent until just before our arrival time...while we were driving...so didn't see that message. Be aware that although the booking says it is on ground level, it is actually 1 flight of stairs down to ground level. It's not a good option for anyone with mobility issues. It would have been helpful to have more detailed instructions on how to operate the oven and floor vacuum.

Very nice mountain and lake view from hotel

The view and setting is great, like the pictures. It’s impressive on arrival, and spending time at different times of day is pretty cool -transition from day to night is cool here.

I didn’t like that everything could be provided for extra cost; towels, bedsheets, cleaning and so on. I didn’t like the host informing me minutes before our stay was due to start that toilet roll was also not included, especially on the Easter weekend when the nearest (open ) store was 15 minutes away. I didn’t like the plethora of notices posted all over the apartment advising what to do and what not to do. The general approach of this host is not giving the feeling of comfort or being welcome at the property. It seems to me that the host wants to run a holiday let for the extra cash, but doesn’t necessarily want people to touch anything or do anything in the property. Example: if I’m paying a cleaning fee or detail cleaning the floors before leaving, then I’m not being told that I cannot walk round the place in my shoes. This is not a Buddhist temple, it’s an apartment on a hill.

The place in general is petty. And the location is convenient

I did like it, when a see the apartment full of papers on the doors, with rules and rude ways to put in. I feel uncomfortable in a place that doesn’t have it on a book or more polite.
