ou have to go up a lot of stairs and inside the apartment there are also 3 stairs, one to one of the rooms and a high one to the terrace. A corkscrew, wooden spoon and bottle opener would have been nice.

My friends and I loved this apartment and we highly recommend it! Location is great, just a few minutes away (on foot) from the old town. If you travel by car (or rent one), there is a very big private (and affordable) parking lot two minutes away. The apartment is very nice and clean and it had everything we needed for a short stay. It also has a very nice terrace, which is a welcomed bonus for smokers! 😅 The communication with the host was also great. I would definitely stay there again!

The apartment is located in an older building, with an inner courtyard, on the top floor (4). Check-in is easy. The open terrace is a strong point of the apartment because here you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. You will find everything you need in the apartment: bed linen, towels, toiletries, dishes, pods with coffee, tea, cereals, milk and water. The host is very kind, providing all the information over the phone. The apartment is 5-10 minutes from the historic center and the bus station where you take the buses for the airport, Taormina, Siracusa, etc.

In general, everything was very good. True, there are many stairs to climb, but I knew about them from the beginning. The area where the apartment is located is not exactly the cleanest, but that is not up to the owner. There are also many immigrants in the area, but we did not feel unsafe. As a piece of advice for the future, a little more attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the apartment.

The apartment located in beautiful ancient building. There is a lot of light inside apartment, the bedroom is beautiful and elegant. The kitchen has everything you need. The caring host offers cereals, cookies, croissants, jam and sweets for breakfast. There you can also make coffee and tea. Location is superb, the vegetable and fruit market is 5 minutes from house, bus and train stations 10 minutes. I like everything there!

Apartment met all of our needs and expectations. Very clean bathroom and rooms. Comfortable beds. Simple but nice breakfast. There was coffee machine as well. Balcony was nice. Very easy check-in, because instructions were clear. Despite the neighbourhood, apartment felt safe. Overall very satisfied with the experience.

Our experience at the apartment was disappointing due to the lack of clarity regarding accessibility. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find that there were 90 stairs from the main entrance to the apartment door, and an additional 12 stairs from the apartment door to the flat itself. Unfortunately, this information was not properly disclosed on Booking.com. When we raised our concerns with the host, they referred us to the note under 'Accessibility,' stating that the upper floors are only accessible by stairs. However nowhere did it state that the apartment was situated on the highest floor ie. the 5th floor. While we understand that some stairs are expected, managing over 100 steps proved to be extremely challenging for us, especially since it wasn't accurately described beforehand. Furthermore, we were taken aback by the host's rudeness when we brought up our concerns. Despite our dissatisfaction, my family and I had to sleep in another flat due to the accessibility issue at our expenses, while the other couple accompanying us had no choice but to stay due to financial constraints. Despite this inconvenience, the host was unwilling to offer even a partial refund.

We absolutely loved this apartament! Perfect for 4 People! Two spacious bedrooms, super clean bathroom with a large window for an easy airflow, nice kitchen with useful utensils. Nice bed matresses, a lot of towels, everything very clean and tidy. We really appreciated the little details like the welcoming water bottles, the coffee pots and tea bags. Good location, semi central but near to everything. Very good comunication with the host every day.
