Glen View Escape

A short driving distance from Twizel, set in a quiet rural area with great views, this property lived up to expectations fully.

Glen View Escape was a perfect spot for a relaxing stay. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable with gracious, friendly hosts. The location was well away from the town so it was very quiet and the night sky was spectacular.

Nice property with a view opening to all around. I even could take Aurora photos from the front of the house.

We weren't expecting much on our quick stop in Twizel. It turns out, this was one of our favorite stays on our New Zealand journey. The unit was spacious, spotless, organized, and the hostess was waiting on us when we arrived. We wish we'd stayed another night or two, as this was a great base for exploring the area.

That we couldn’t stay longer

There were windows from all sides of the living area. and there is a huge glass door facing the mountain. The heat pump keeps the whole house warm. There is also bed heater. TV is huge at the living room with smart apps, you can log in to your Netflix. Kitchen is complete with almost everything. You can park your car right in front of the house. It is really almost perfect! The friendly host came out and greeted us as we reached and showed us where to get the keys and all!

It is not right at the city. The drive to the property is a little dark after sunset. But great to know that the hosts stay at the same property (segmented house), so kinda feel safe knowing that we could get assistance needed!
