Beautiful Home in Dorset

2nd stay at this clean spacious property, which has everything we need for our family weekend break. Very comfy beds in good size bedrooms, plus on suite and separate bathroom for the kids. Peaceful location overlooking fields, morning coffee on the decking while watching the horses is a great way to start the day!

The communication with the owner was fantastic. The property itself was spotless, the facilities were great and the garden was perfect for our dogs. We also loved sitting by the stream in the early spring sunshine 🌞 It was a perfect base for exploring the area. We'd love to visit again!

Quiet rural location. Lovely garden and we enjoyed the summerhouse to sit and read and relax in. A real joy and nice addition to the property. Good size property, lots of cupboard space, clean and comfortable for our time away as a family. Nice to have teapot and cafetiere to enjoy fresh coffee. Comfy beds. Liked the en-suite and bath option too. The owner quickly sorted an initial issue with lightbulbs not working. Thank you. We had a nice stay with our family of 3 and two grandparents. Recommend The Greyhound Inn in the village for meals and breakfast. Gluten & vegetarian options. Great base to explore the Jurassic coast - Swanage, Poole, Brownsea Island, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay for rock pooling & snorkelling with the abandoned village of Tyneham and the Royal Signals Musuem very good.

Nothing major, only a few other suggestions to make to enhance a stay further: Although i checked with owner in advance regarding a microwave, ad it was not listed, the addition of one would have been good. As it limited a few of our planned meal options and families with young children may require this too for heating food etc. More crockery, so you can use one set whilst the other in dishwasher, a spatula, another wooden spoon and a sink drainer to stack plates and cutlery after washing. Forgot to ask owner when visited if there was a cutlery basket for the dishwasher, as was missing? Adding in some drawers or storage in the room with the bunk beds, as there was no-where to put clothes.

A lovely property, very comfortable. Enjoyed the natural garden.
