Villa Bacchus Upper Gate

Comfortable clean and with a great view. Very close to the castle, and the greek theatre. Very close to the upper gate of the old town so you won't get stucked in the narrow roads. Just tell the guy at the gate that you stay at this apartment to let you pass with your car. Or park outside the gate, the apartment is less than 100m from it.

Only one air-condition. Thank god the nights weren't hot during our stay, because if they were, we wouldn't be able to open the windows due to the lack of mosquito nets . Only two forks for six people. There was no sign with the name of the apartment, so we had to ask the neighbours which appartment is it. One of them called the owner and so we found out which was it. Although the check in was from 14.00 to 18.00 and we were there at 17.00 nobody was there and we had to wait for half an hour for somebody to come and give us the key. He claimed that i had to confirm my reservation, which i never did in any previous reservation in Booking's platform. But the most annoying thing was the presence of a very friendly dog (probably the neighbour was the owner) at the parking area, bound with a very short chain, inside a very small cage. I regret that i didn't set him free.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Ohrid! It was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was definitely the stunning view. The location was peaceful yet close enough to everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ohrid.
