River Bank Jungle Resort, Chitwan

Lovely resort, nice staff, great location just beside the river, fair breakfast, yummy dinner, clean, big and comfy rooms, amazing safari. Highly recommend!

They need to start their gym, which is very necessary for a 5 star resort!

It was a lovely property but didn’t really have any guests… so did not function quite as it should. This certainly impacted some food choices; notably deserts!

The spa was not operational but they kindly took me to An alternative resort.

Had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort! Surrounded by breathtaking nature, the resort offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. The accommodations were cozy, and the activities like jungle safaris were fantastic. A special shoutout to Mahato Sir, the Manager, whose hospitality made all the difference. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this beautiful retreat for anyone seeking peace, nature, and top-notch service!

A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of my visit. The rooms were clean, and cozy, and offered a peaceful connection to nature. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and a serene escape! 10/10!

The view from the deck is outstanding. It can be a very peaceful environment to watch wildlife. The swimming pool is also very nice.

The quality of the food was very poor and a number of items were not on the menu. It appeared the hotel was only really interested in the buffet which was very limited. The bedroom was also a bit dark as there was no light in the middle of the room and it still had a confusing number of light switches. The TV hadn't been setup properly which meant not all the TV apps worked. Aircon was a bit temperamental. $30 airport transfer fare is paid directly to the hotel and not to the driver. It's expensive and you don't really have a choice once you're there. I had already done safari so didn't take up any of the activities on offer and can't comment. If you're paying this amount of money per night you expect a stellar experience and this hotel falls short representing poor value for money.

The facility, the room size, seeing the rhino from the deck. Some of the staff like their naturalist babuji. He was a great guy and very helpful

Some of the food was not upto the mark. The staff was in a hurry to close at night. And was literally forcing to have dinner. And in a hurry spoiled the quality of the food.
