Sea Breeze house

A really lovely house. Myself, hubby, two daughters (18 & 11), mother and father in law, plus Mollie the dog came for Christmas (20th - 27th December, 2025). It’s on a quiet hill, with steps to gain access. No information pack was found. The bin men came Christmas Eve but we didn’t know, and the bins were already nearly full from when we arrived. The living room tv wasn’t working for live tv, so we watched programmes on catch up. It is lovely and spacious. The downstairs front bedroom. The TV didn’t work at all. The blinds had the front part off and against the wall. I told the owner (I didn’t want anyone to think we had done it) who sent someone round straight away to try and fix them, but unfortunately he couldn’t do it there and then. There wasn’t any drawers to put clothes in. We lived out of the suitcase for the week. A small rail is on the wall, but only 4 hangers. Nowhere to use to get ready. No mirror and no desk etc Bed is big and comfy. The shower was scolding hot, but the handyman did manage to sort that out when we asked him to take a look. No extractor fan, so the mirror and floor takes AGES to clear and it’s like an ice rink when you get out of the shower. I used one of our own towels I took to be safe. The toilet roll holder and towel ring was hanging off when we arrived, but the handy man also noticed and put it on his to do list to sort it out after we left. The heating soon warmed the house, it’s so good! The bedroom with the single beds in, only had a rail in too with a couple of hangers. The tv worked. The bedroom only had one plug socket in, and that had the lamp plugged in behind the bed. Again no mirror to use to get ready, or desk. The only mirror was in the hallway for tall people. I’m 5ft 5 and couldn’t see my whole face in it. Not ideal for us as a family as we have two girls and myself to get ready. The loft bedroom (I didn’t go up there) was loved by my In Laws. The kitchen was lovely.

It was not fully equipped for cooking. Two TVs didn’t work The water was scolding at first - very dangerous No information pack I did receive a phone call to ask for more money as booking.com had adverts the wrong price. So please make sure it is the correct price I’d like to add I have never been hounded like this, EVER! Since the original review was published I have had nothing but awful messages from Cody. I have now published the messages I have had and replied too, to warn others. Basically you can ring someone and ask for another £280 to stay at the property. I asked booking.com if he was allowed to do so and they replied with a no! Although he could cancel if he wishes. Then I wrote an honest review. It’s a lovely house it really is but there are teething problems and I get bombarded with awful messages. I have never got this type of response before when writing a review. I hope he gets things sorted and moves on. Like I keep saying. It’s a lovely house and will be even better when those things get sorted.

Clean, quiet, cosy and comfy. Nature reserve on the doorstep for lovely walks, too!

Nothing is wrong

The property was very high spec throughout and clean. the kids loved it and so did we. the host left us a basket of treats that went down brilliantly with the kids - thank you. nice quiet road with lots of free parking outside. beach at the end of the road. main area about 5 minutes walk away. so perfect

everything was perfect just what we needed. we would definitely stay again.

Immaculately clean, very spacious, the upstairs room is amazing bonus garden too and free parking outside, we had a great stay.

The place was immaculate. Every room was fast class. it really felt like our home. the children said can we just stay here forever? LOL, and we kind of wanted to too.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property. There were so much space from the kitchen to the ensuite bathrooms. Everything was top tier

Fantastic house; comfortable and well equipped within easy walking distance of the Embassy theatre. Ideal for our family trip! Will definitely book again.

I forgot my plug adapter to put my usb phone charger in (my own fault!) but couldn't charge my phone so a usb socket or extension lead with one on would have been a brilliant addition.

Great place to stay Spacious , Clean & comfortable Cody was helpful when needed & a nice welcome pack on Arrival Would highly recommend & we will be returning when next in Skegness
