Il trullo felice

A beautiful, clean and well equipped trulli house in really nice surroundings and in a perfect location for exploring the region. An extra plus for the generous and welcoming hosts.

I cannot say enough about il Trullo Felice. Once we arrived the host, Guiseppe, greated us and went over everything we needed to know, as well as providing a wonderful apertivo spread for us. There was even home made Limoncello in the refrigerator. The host has thought of everything, even mosquito repellent. This is the best supplied self-catering place I have stayed (and I have stayed in many over the last 20 years). Everything is so well thought out and provided. The location in the countryside near Locorotondo is lovely and the neighbors are very nice.

The only problem we had was not with il Trullo Felice but with the GPS coordinates and the address provided by Booking.com. They were incorrect and we ended up at the wrong place when we used them. However, we called our host and and he came and got us, then led us to il Trullo Felice. Interestingly, the place we did find was within sight of il Trullo Felice. I plan on contacting Booking with this information.

This property was outstanding from the wonderful hosts to the perfectly equipped Trullo!! What a beautiful stay we had enjoyed everything about it!!We would all rate this over 10 if we could!!

Location was wonderful and relaxing. Perfect for a quiet stay away from the crowds.

Everything was perfect.

The property is so nice and charming, with a spacious terrace and beautiful garden, full of flowers and trees. It’s quite place, just perfect for relaxing away from crowds. It’s located close to Locorotondo center and just 10 minutes away from Alberobello, so it’s a great startung point to some od the most beautiful places in Puglia. The owners of Il trullo felice, Giuseppe and Maria, were the most kind and thoughtful hosts we have ever met. On the day of arrival they warmly wellcomed us with a lot of local food and drink. So kind! It was really hard to leave this place…I definitely recommend it!

Let me start by saying that Maria & Giuseppe are adorable and most helpful. They greeted us with homemade Puglia specialties and a lovely bottle of wine along with homemade Limoncello. The Trullo was very clean, pretty & comfortable. Personally, I was in love with the outdoor garden. Would 100% go back hands down. Hopefully, this beautiful serene place with keep its beauty over time

Giuseppe and Maria were the most beautiful hosts. They met us on arrival where we were greeted with the table set out with local fruits, olives, homemade treats and limoncello and a delicious bottle of red wine. After a day of travelling and exploring it was lovely to sit and enjoy for our light dinner. The trullo had absolutely everything we needed and was sparkling clean inside and out with the most gorgeous garden full of flowers, fruits, veggies and herbs. It was certainly the best accommodation we have stayed in on our European adventure and we will be recommending it to all our friends and family that visit Italy and Puglia in particular. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect!!

The house is beautiful. The garden is gorgeous. It was so pleasant to sit outside. The location is rural and absolutely stunning. We rented bikes in Locorotondo and found the area very bike friendly.

A very small complaint, we would have preferred less perfume in the linens.

Everything was great! The hosts, Giuseppe & his wife, were very hospitable and helpful. The house has everything you might need and even more. The location was very convenient to visit different places in the area. We really loved it.

The house is situated in a rural area and driving back at night can be challenging, but nothing that cannot be handled with a GPS.
