Hi, so we did not expect the Hotel to be like a res at University. It was not communicated to us how to get out the gate, we also did not receive any toilet paper on arrival. Our shower also had old washing sponged in and used soap that was not cleaned. After seeing the showered had not been cleaned I questioned if the whole room was cleaned or not. I would recommend showcasing how the hotel / castle works to really show customers what to expect. thanks

The staff are exceptionally friendly, pool and house very clean.

Not a fan of communal bathrooms but it was very clean and not too much traffic.

What a lpvely place accessible to all amenities and staff Anthony was excellent.

Guests need to be given access code for gate as having to dial and wait for staff to let you in isnt the the safest considering property location

The location was beautiful, not far to drive but once you're in it feels like you're out of the city! The pool was amazing, super warm and refreshing water. The gardens were well kept! The cleaners Thandi and Betty were friendly and Anthon was helpful. The decor was stunning, very vibey and aesthetic. Lots of places around the property to sit and explore! JP was very helpful and and friendly! This is a great spot for a stay-cation and a fun time!

You're going to want to book the entire place for the best experience possible. This property is perfect but it would be much better to book the entire place to ensure that you and your group are comfortable. It's a huge property but not ideal as a shared space because it can be a little awkward with other guests on the property, especially when it comes to shared areas such as kitchens, lounges, and bathrooms. Next time, I'd definitely book the entire place! This would also help with feeling more safe and comfortable. Anthon was very helpful, but there needs to be a little more boundaries between him and the guests in terms of the use of certain amenities and space. There were some inconsistencies amongst the rooms in terms of the availability of towels, cups etc in each room. The rooms could also use Mosquito plugs.
