The rooms were cleaned well each day, which was appreciated, although not all rooms are equipped with mosquito nets. The house and garden area have clear potential, but are currently tired and worn, and would benefit from renovation and more consistent maintenance.

Unfortunately, we had no hot water on any morning throughout our stay — despite daily assurances it would be fixed. The regular daily burning of trash (including plastic) in an old oil barrel next to the guest rooms — despite repeated assurances this would stop — made relaxation very difficult. In this case, the combination of unresolved basic services and ongoing disturbances made the place difficult to recommend.

Lovely cafe on-site, very safe area (although quite impersonal and quiet - lots of embassies and UN) and nice staff. I only stayed for one night, so I can't say much more.

The bed was quite hard, and breakfast could have been a bit more and more flavorful. Otherwise no complaints, would recommend!

The staff are supportive and friendly, Charles was very professional when checking us in. Rooms and beddings are clean. The coffee was great. The location was very strategic for my meeting within Giriri.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They accommodated us coming late (we arrived at midnight) and leaving early.

The place might require a bit of maintenance and touch ups. There are a few things that could be fixed up.

​Hi Liu and DB Team, ​I have checked out and want to share some honest feedback. The space came highly recommended by some UN colleagues who I assume are mutuals in the network. I therefore had high hopes for this stay. ​The space is calm , beautiful and vibrant. The cleaning ladies were truly kind, the chef was excellent, and I loved the coffee and the overall atmosphere.Therefore I decided to rent for a month after the first night. For the first three weeks, everything was great and comfortable. ​However, as someone who came here specifically for remote work, the 6-day internet outage in the 4th week was a major challenge for my meetings. More importantly, I was deeply uncomfortable when the management raised his voice while shifting blame at me in front of the cleaning staff for raising these concerns. ​This behavior lowered the respect and hospitality accorded at the beginning of my stay and made it feel like an unsafe environment. I had intended to stay longer and recommend this house for our upcoming event delegations and future accomodation, but I can no longer do that in good conscience. Seeing as our previous interactions were pleasant, I noted that this individual appeared under significant personal stress at the time, mentioning they were supposed to be off-duty. However projecting that onto a guest remains a breach of the safety and professionalism expected.
